'The Common Loaf Bakery' is a cottage industry run by families living together as a community in Devon. Artisan bakers committed to producing delicious wholesome Spelt and Rye breads. Using sourdough and slow fermentation methods, aiding digestion. Suitable for most avoiding modern wheat. Delivery day -Thursday PM

A large range of speciality flours, wholemeal, spelt and rye flours, gluten free, bread flours.

Herbs and Spices

We sell more than 200 different herbs and spices. Spices are also available to order in 500g or Kilo sizes. Ask in the shop or phone us on 01684 891191.

Stamp Collection & Overseas Aid

We provided a stamp collecting service the proceeds of which are donated to overseas aid. So if you have any stamps do drop them off to us. Every little helps and over the years a substantial amount of money has been raised. In aid of the Dabane Support Fund.Providing a sustainable clean water supply in rural Zimbabwe.

DSF specialises in the extraction of water from the sand of dry river beds. Known as “Sand Extraction” so communities become self sufficient providing vegetables and income.
